Caffree was born out of frustration with how little innovation existed in decaf, and how broken the system was from bean to bottle

Our founders witnessed firsthand the impact of solvent-based processes on flavor, health, sustainability, and supply chains.
So we turned to science, developing an enzymatic method that mimics natural digestion to remove caffeine without sacrificing flavor.

WHY WE EXIST

Consumers want clean-label, low-caffeine options that do not compromise on taste. Brands want simpler operations, fewer SKUs, and less waste. But traditional decaf is outdated, inefficient, and flavor-destructive.
